The St. Augustine Interfaith Community came together
on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 to celebrate
the 450th Anniversary
of the founding of St. Augustine
as One People, One Community in a Compassionate City.
Thank you, Jorge Rivera, of FirstCoast.TV for this video.
Jorge's comments on his website:
The Interfaith Service on September 1st, at the First United Methodist Church on King Street, was a remarkable and enlightening moment for our community. The broad spectrum of spiritual beliefs represented at the event was amazing. The vibration present, was one of peace, harmony and understanding. Words become lacking in its description, only being there could really explain what was said, and how that plural message was transformed in one positive light.
And thank you, Pastor Ken Wilcox of the Center for Spiritual Living, for organizing this amazing event.
